Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effect of the using autocorrection to improve typing skill for students with intellectual disabilities in the transition program. The sample of the study include four students with intellectual disabilities, who enrolled in the after-school day care program, whose ages range from (21-25) years, where they taught typing skills by applying autocorrection option on the (Microsoft Word) program. Using single subject design (multiple baseline design across participants), the results showed that all students improve their typing skills on three measures: total number of correct words, accuracy, and error rates.

هدفتْ هذه الدِّراسةُ إلى الكشف عن أثرِ استخدامِ خاصيَّةِ التَّصحيحِ التِّلقائي لتحسين مهارةِ الطِّباعةِ على الحاسب الآلي لَدى طالبات الإعاقةِ الفكريَّةِ بالبرنامجِ الانتقالي، وقد تكوّنتْ عينةُ الدِّراسةِ من أربعِ طالباتٍ من ذواتِ الإعاقةِ الفكريَّةِ البسيطةِ الملتحقاتِ ببرنامجِ رعايةِ نهاريَّة لِما بعد المدرسةِ بأحدِ المراكزِ بمنطقةِ الرياضِ، واللاتي تتراوح أعمارهنَّ ما بين (21-25) سنةً، وتمَّ تدريبُ المشاركات بواقعِ 25 جلسةً لتحسين مهارةِ الطِّباعةِ على الحاسب الآلي من خلالِ استخدامِ خاصيَّةِ التَّصحيحِ التِّلقائي لزيادةِ معدَّلِ الكلماتِ المطبوعةِ بواسطةِ برنامج (Microsoft Word )، وباستخدامِ منهجيَّةِ دراسةِ الحالة الواحدة (الخطوط القاعديَّة المتعدِّدة)، وأظهرتِ االنتائج بأنّ استخدامِ خاصيَّةِ التَّصحيحِ التِّلقائي أسهمت في تحسين مهارات الدِّقةُ في الكتابةِ، وعددُ الكلماتِ المكتوبة بطريقة صحيحة، وقلة الأخطاءِ الطباعية والإملائية لَدى طالبات الإعاقةِ الفكريَّةِ البسيطةِ.
