مستوى التفاؤل المتعلم وعلاقته بدافعية الإنجاز لدى طلبة جامعة أبو ظبي
Abstract
The current study aimed at investigating the level of learned optimism and its relationship to achievement motivation among Abu Dhabi University students, United Arab Emirates. The study sample consisted of 189 male and 166 female students from Abu Dhabi University. The results of the study indicated that the average response of the sample on the learner optimism scale was moderate. The average response of the sample on the motivation scale for achievement was also moderate. The results of the study indicated that there is a positive correlation between the areas of learner’s optimism and achievement motivation. In addition, there were statistically significant differences in the response average on the level of learner’s optimism and motivation for achievement according to academic achievement. High-achieving students were more optimistic and more motivated while low-achieving students were less optimistic and less motivated.

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تقصي مستوى التفاؤل المتعلم وعلاقته بدافعية الإنجاز لدى طلبة جامعة أبو ظبي، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (189) طالباً، و(166) طالبة من طلبة جامعة أبو ظبي، استخدم الباحثان مقياس سيلجمان (1998) للتفاؤل المتعلم، ومقياس دافعية الإنجاز. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن متوسط استجابة أفراد العينة على مقياس التفاؤل المتعلم جاء بدرجة متوسطة، حيث حصل البعد الثالث: السمات الشخصية على أعلى استجابة، كما أشارت نتائج الدراسة أن متوسط استجابة أفراد العينة على مقياس الدافعية للإنجاز قد جاء بدرجة متوسطة أيضًا، حيث حصل البعد الرابع من أبعاد الدافعية، وهو الدافعية للتحصيل الدراسي على أعلى استجابة، وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية دالة إحصائياً بين كل من مجالات التفاؤل المتعلم ودافعية الإنجاز، كما بينت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متوسطات الاستجابة على مستوى التفاؤل المتعلم والدافعية للإنجاز تبعًا لمتغير التحصيل الدراسي، وأن الطلبة الأعلى تحصيلاً أكثر تفاؤلاً وأعلى دافعية، والأقل تحصيلاً أقل تفاؤلاً وأقل دافعية.
