Abstract
The advent of the computer and the Internet has lead to huge technological developments in contact means. However, some problems have emanated from such developments such as the misuse of the Internet in the form of publishing illegal and harmful content. As a result, some questions have been raised such as, whether Internet providers can be held liable for such publishing, on what such liability maybe be based, and what standards maybe applied to Internet providers’ liability.
