Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of reflective practices of mathematics teachers in Ramallah and al-Bireh directorates of Education. A related purpose was to examine the effect of both gender and experience on these practices. A total of 78 math teachers, randomly selected from Ramallah and al-Bireh directorates, responded to a questionnaire during the second semester of the academic year 2019-2020. The results showed that the degree of reflective practices of mathematics teachers was high. Also, no statistically significant differences were found between the average scores of the reflective practices for math teachers due to gender and experience.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع الممارسات الـتأملية لمعلمي الرياضيات في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في محافظة رام الله والبيرة من وجهة نظرهم، والكشف عما إذا كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجة الممارسات التأملية لدى معلمي الرياضيات في مديرية رام الله والبيرة التي تعزى لمتغيرات: الجنس، وسنوات الخدمة، وتحقيقاً لهذا الهدف تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من معلمي الرياضيات في مدارس محافظة رام الله والبيرة، وتم اختيارها عن طريق العينة العشوائية البسيطة، حيث بلغ عدد أفراد العينة 78 معلماً ومعلمة، وقد استخدمت الباحثة أداة الدراسة التي تمثلت في الاستبانة بعد التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وقد أشارت النتائج إلى أن درجة الممارسات التأملية لدى معلمي الرياضيات مرتفعة، كما تبين أنه لا يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجة الممارسات التأملية لدى معلمي الرياضيات وفقاً لمتغيرات الجنس، وسنوات الخدمة.
