التنبؤ بأبعاد الدافعية الداخلية من خلال مفهوم الذات لدى طلبة جامعة السلطان قابوس في سلطنة عمان
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to predict the dimensions of intrinsic motivation from self-concept among 1684 first-year students at Sultan Qaboos University. A related purpose was to explore statistically significant gender differences in self-concept and the dimensions of intrinsic motivation. The study tools were intrinsic motivation and self-concept scales. The results showed that academic and non-academic self-concept predicted challenge, curiosity, and independence. Statistically significant differences were attributed to gender in the challenge, independence, and academic self-concept in favor of females. There were no statistically significant gender differences in curiosity and non-academic self-concept.

هدفت الدراسة الحالية التنبؤ بأبعاد الدافعية الداخلية من خلال مفهوم الذات لدى 1684 من طلبة السنة الأولى بجامعة السلطان قابوس للعام الأكاديمي 2018/ 2019م، إضافةً إلى الكشف عن وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في مستوى مفهوم الذات وأبعاد الدافعية الداخلية تعزى للجنس لدى أفراد العينة، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي، ومقياسي الدافعية الداخلية ومفهوم الذات، وبعد التأكد من صدق وثبات المقاييس، وباستخدام برنامج الحزم الإحصائية SPSS. فقد أشارت النتائج إلى أن مفهوم الذات بنوعيه الأكاديمي وغير الأكاديمي يتنبأ بالتحدي وحب الاستطلاع والاستقلالية، كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى للجنس في التحدي والاستقلالية ومفهوم الذات الأكاديمي لصالح الإناث، بينما لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزى للجنس في بعدي حب الاستطلاع ومفهوم الذات غير الأكاديمي.
