Abstract

This study aims to recognize the effectiveness of diagnosing the Indicative Understanding of the Language Skills of Deaf Via Sign Language from 7- 18 years through measuring the mental ability of sign language for deaf. In order to achieve the objectives of study, the items of Diagnosing the Indicative Understanding of the Language Skills of Deaf are converted after conveying significances for validity, reliability and standards in the sample of deaf children into sign language. The sample consisted of 385 children. The statistical data are addressed by extracting Pearson Correlation, arithmetic means and standard deviations and (t) test besides using One-Way ANOVA test and Scheffe Test and Least Significant Difference. Significance about the validity of Diagnosing the Indicative Understanding of the Language Skills of Deaf and conveyed represented in the content validity, structure validity and correlation validity, factorial validity, and Concurrent Validity. Also, significances about reliability of standard are conveyed and represented in using Cronbach's alpha test, the method of Spearman Brown.

Arabic Abstract الملخص باللغة العربية

هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى الخصــائص الســيكومترية، مــن دلالات صــدق وثبــات ومعايير مقياس تشخيص الفهم الإشاري لقياس المهارات اللغوية لدى الأطفال والمراهقين الصم بلغة الإشارة للفئة العمرية (7 – 18 ) سنة . ومن أجل تحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تحويل فقرات المقياس إلى لغة الإشارة بعد التوصل إلى دلالات عن صدق وثبات ومعايير في عينة الصم بلغة الإشارة. شملت عينة الدراسة على الصم والبالغ عددهم (385) طالب وطالبة ، وتم تطبيق مقياس الفهم الإشاري لقياس المهارات اللغوية بلغة الإشارة عليهم وعولجت البيانات الإحصائية باستخدام المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية، واستخدام اختبار (ت) بالإضافة إلى استخدام اختبار تحليل التباين الأحادي (One Way ANOVA)، واختبار المقارنات البعدية ( Protected Least Significant Difference ,LSD،ومعاملات ارتباط بيرسون . وتم التوصل إلى دلالات عن صدق الفهم الإشاري لقياس المهارات اللغوية لدى الصم وتمثلت في صدق المحتوى، والصدق العاملي، وصدق البناء الداخلي ، والصدق التلازمي، كما تم التوصل إلى دلالات عن ثبات المقياس تمثلت في استخدام ألفا كرونباخ، والتجزئة النصفية. وتوصي الدراسة بإجراء المزيد من الدراسات والأبحاث المتعلقة بلغة الإشارة وأثرها على اللغة العربية .
