Abstract

Curriculum developers shall realize that it is a mistake to consider children at school are totally away from participating in extremist activities for which some extremist groups call for, and reach the limit of crimes, participation of crimes, or even emotional support for. Currently, these young children are prone to varied effective currents, most of which believe in biased and non-objective visions. These children deal with through different enteries, the Internet may be the most important one as children deal with since infancy. So, they are prone to believing in extremist hurtful ideas, opinions. Surely, prevention and early intervention are better. Therefore, the curriculum should encourage participation in group works among local organizations and parents to help pupils and provide sufficient support to be a part of a broader accountable society. This is what this paper seeks to highlight through suggesting a strategy for activating the role of curriculum to face the radicalism.

Arabic Abstract الملخص باللغة العربية

لا بد أن يدرك القائمون على التعليم أن من الخطأ اعتبار الأطفال في سن المدرسة بعيدون بالكلية عن المشاركة في النشاطات المتطرفة التي تدعو إلىها بعض الجماعات المتطرفة، والتي قد تصل إلى حد ارتكاب أعمال إجرامية أو المشاركة في تنفيذها أو حتي التأييد الوجدأني لها، فهؤلاء الأطفال الصغار يتعرضون في زمننا المعاصر إلى تيارات مختلفة تؤثر فيهم بشدة، وكثير منها يتبني وجهات نظر متحاملة ومتحيزة،ويتعامل هذا النشء الصغير مع هذه التيارات من خلال مداخل متعددة، يأتي الأنترنت على رأسها، والذي بات الأطفال حالىاً يتعاملون معه منذ سن مبكرة. مما يجعلهم في مرمى خطر الممارسات السيئة لهذه الخدمة، من مثل اعتناق الآراء والأفكار المتطرفة وغيرها من أشكال الإجرام التي تعرضهم للإيذاء، وبالطبع الوقاية والتدخل المبكر هو الحل الأفضل دائما، ومن هنا يجب أن تحرص العملية التعليمية على تشجيع العمل التشاركي مع المؤسسات المحلية وأولياء الأمور، في سبيل مساعدة الطلاب ومنحهم الدعم الكافي الذي يؤهلهم لأن يكونوا جزءاً من نطاق أوسع يتحمل فيه الجميع المسؤوليات. وهذا ما يحاول هذا البحث تقديمه من خلال اقتراح استراتيجية لتفعيل دور المنهج المدرسي في مواجهة التطرف.
