Abstract

This research deals mainly with the principles of solving contradiction between two provisions; a Quranic /Sunnah Provisions and another Quranic or Sunnah Provisions.

The researcher presents the opinions of Muslim Jurists of different schools of thought and their evidences. He, furthermore, defines the concept. Of “Contradiction" in both linguistic and jurisprudential terms.

The research stipulates the basis of the concept and its conditions.
