Technological developments and the digital revolution have succeeded in integrating many technological applications and launching them into applications that are more complex and penetrated into all aspects of technology that affect architecture. The most important of these is the technology of augmented and virtual reality, which unleashed the architects' freedom of thought and creativity without restriction, High flexibility; they transferred architecture to the virtual reality world. The role of the computer in architecture is no longer limited to presentation and imagination, but a main shift in the traditional standards of the design process and the transformation of the computer into an assistant in the design process through the introduction of alternatives to design thought, study of the relationship of design to the general site and the studies of environmental, sound and optical design. Therefore, the problem of research is concentrated on the lack of clarity on the impact of the understanding of local architectural designers on the applications of augmented, and the virtual reality design process at the levels of education, perception and production, as well as the lack of local literature related to the importance of augmented and the virtual reality as one of the architectural design tools related to the creation of buildings. The aim of the research is to show the role of augmented, and the virtual reality as one of the most important requirements of architectural design, in computer applications since its inception, through the introduction of a fundamental debate revolves around virtual reality and architectural creativity and is linked to the relationship between architecture and one of the latest computer technologies.
